The YACA Program

     This community based after school program targets  socially at risk youth, boys and girls with The Young Aviators Club of America.  One of our goals is to inject an early and sustained aviation experience in each child and their social communities.  The program is prioritized primarily on a social / economic needs basis. 

    No child of any race, gender,  religious creed or disability that would not preclude them from the active activities of piloting aircraft are ever denied access to available training slots. 

Wings of Loving Hearts Foundation is the creator of the

(YACA) Young Aviators Club of America

         YACA project proposes to develop  K-3 to K-12 aviator development programs. Children ages 6 - 17 are given experience in the joys and disciplines of aviation. With the Cub Flyers, Cadet Air Corp and the Boomer Youth Flyers, YACA serves the greater community by literally showing the "less privileged" community’s next generation a real way up.

• The Cub Flyers - CF program sparks the earliest flames of aviation interest.     ages 6-8 

• The Cadet Air Corps - CAC establishes organization and fosters leadership with active learning and a behavioral based ranking system.                                                  ages 8 - 12

• Boomer Youth Flyers Corps - "THE BOOMERS" prepares our young aviators for various facets of professional aviation careers.  It includes real world experience, internships and professional industry preparation.   College entrance exam preparation is mandated for all Boomers age 14 and older.                                                                                         ages 12 - 17             

YACA  mandates abridged

1. There will be no weapons on aircraft in flight simulations.   We leave that training to the pros, our U.S. Armed Forces.

2. YACA students will receive one hour or more of homework assistance class before aviation training begins.

3. Mandatory ACT and SAT preparation classes start for all Boomers ages 13.5 - 14 years old and continues until graduation.

4. YACA mandates all instructors and volunteers to agree not recruit, proselytize or get into heavy political discourse when on training site. Secular-goal oriented inclusive environment embracing all cultures will be maintianed to respect all faiths.

5. Formation marching is mandatory for all students, where facilties permit.

6. In our student Town Hall discussions, students are equal regardless of  rank may speak freely.

7. YACA does not tolerate any bully practices by students or administrators.

8. Student uniforms are required at all times.

9. Boomers will tutor and mentor cadets as a component of their community service work & ethic credits.

10. Every Boomer age 15 ( at the latest ) and up will begin professional FAA certification prep-exams.

11. Every Boomer pledges to teach and mentor others in aviation.
